Luxury high rise apartments for Changsha
L2ds designed this unusual duplex (double height) for the CSIFS high rise residential tower. The building was originally planned for commercial office space which is why it has unusually high ceilings for a residence. The living room is double height at about 5.5 meters which is where the name duplex is derived and has a unique loft space above the kitchen which functions as a study and guest bedroom.
The master bedroom has a built in headboard with side lights and tables integrated into the room design. Indirect lighting from the headboard illuminates the wall covering. Screen doors with etched patterns and nickel frames can enclose the space separating the bedroom from the walk in closet and master bathroom. The platform bed illuminates the floor surrounding it. The walk in closet and dressing area have translucent screen doors that offer privacy if needed.
The five piece luxury bathroom with freestanding bathtub , individual his and her washbasin vanities, walk-in shower and enclosed water closet. Floors and walls are finished with white Calacatta marble with nickel hardware.
L2ds designed most of the units in this high rise development as well as the common and public areas such as the entry lobbies, health club lounge and more. You can view some of these spaces on this channel.
