The pool is located in a new high rise residential building without any particularly nice views out to the city beyond. The design filters the view out of the space with bronze vertical strips which are arranged to allow natural light to enter the space. The cavernous height of the space is tempered with the slope of the internal wall running along one side. This is also intended to reflect light down into the pool and soften the acoustics of the room. Day beds rest on an illuminated platform of stone which is the main material used throughout with the exception of the large timber table intended to contrast with the stone and soften the space.
